Another UPS incompetence thread

Wow man, where's the Christmas spirit? :D

Did you buy it from someone in the Norwich, CT area? Bozrah is the local UPS depot for me- I live a few miles from it.
Bryan, I got it on ebay from a seller known as "Mike's Music Mart." Mean anything to you? Seems a good guy to me from my communications with him, apart from his choice of these abysmally inept morons as his courier service.

Nope, there's no brick and mortar store around here by that name.
No, didn't think that he was actually operating a real store. Helpful chap, though, very good feedback and prompt shipping. Shame about the delivery, or lack of, thanks to the hard sucking UPS guys. When I do eventually get it here, I'm going to check every square millimetre of it before signing. I'm sure these people are useless enough to damage a tungsten carbide coated brick without even trying - in fact, their whole existence seems to be accomplished without ever trying to do anything, unless they're deliberately trying to be as obstructive, unhelpful and cretinous as possible.

No, no don't hold back. Tell us how you really feel:D

Well, after more confusion, delays, miscommunication and general failure to inspire confidence, they finally managed to deliver today at 3PM, having given me an ETA of noon earlier on. It had taken them 90 hours to get a box 40 miles. A strong man could have done that on foot in a fraction of the time. The driver then told me that I couldn't open the package to check the condition of the contents before signing as he was "not allowed to". He nearly became the first person in the district with a rectally fitted bass, but I just couldn't be bothered to argue. The wretched dregs of humanity who UPS pays to lower public opinion of the company had thoroughly demoralised me by then.

Oh well, the bass cheered me up as it's great. So, a hearty "Happy Holidays" from me to all the drab unicellular pondlife who allegedly work for UPS (if you can call it that) and performed in such singular fashion on this occasion. Hope Santa brings you a little wit and talent for Christmas, you obviously could use it.

I was going to start a new thread for this but what the hell, I'll just resurrect this one.

For the fourth time in as many years, UPS has failed to deliver a package as scheduled when I took a day off to wait for it.

This is after I called them on Friday and told them how important it was that they actually deliver my package today. Then I called them this afternoon because I was concerned that the tracking page didn't show an "out for delivery". They told me that sometimes packages don't get scanned properly when they go on the truck or something.

After 9 hours of waiting, they changed the delivery date to the next day.

I'll find out tomorrow morning what is going in with it. I've had it with incompetence and stupidity in the world. The next person who screws me over is going to get tazed in the family jewels!

Anyone else here have to deal with UPS incompetence and/or stupidity and/or negligence?

- Dave

I figured that the law of averages meant that after three consecutive failed large package deliveries, they'd actually deliver this one. I should have known better. Just because a coin comes up tails three times in a row doesn't mean that there is a greater chance that it will come up heads the fourth time.

Some asses are going to get kicked tomorrow if I don't get my bass!

Man you should write music reviews.

These are probably the funniest combinations of adjectives and nouns in this history of the english language.:D:D:D
