If you think the American UPS is bad, you should try the British. Mind you, nothing surprises me in the UK any more, the whole country seems to be totally poo.

I'm getting a new instrument, an EUB. The seller despatched promptly and UPS managed to get it from Bozrah, CT to East Midlands Airport, a journey of some 3,300 miles, in 48 hours - not bad.

The bass has now been sitting at East Midlands Airport for a further three days, about 40 miles from my house, and the tracking information says nothing about it being out for delivery today.

I wanna green card!! Living in Britain these days is depressing.

It's probably being held up in customs. International deliveries are never speedy.
True, it may be the customs people rather than UPS, the point is it's dang slow to get the last 40 miles...

In the past, I've had some very quick shipments from the US, this is the first one where there seems to be a delay. Wonder if the date being near Christmas is anything to do with it?

Well, it just got worse and worse. The website tracking facility provided by this pathetic bunch of talentless wasters reported my package as being out for delivery when it finally updated about 9 AM, so I waited at home all day. 7PM came and went, no sign of the van.

What really annoyed me is that despite my attempts to provide every opportunity for me to be kept informed, the incompetent mental defectives that UPS jokingly refer to as employees seemed to think it entirely reasonable to expect me to wait in all day with no delivery, no info about what was happening and a promise that they'll try again tomorrow (at an unspecified time) to achieve the relatively simple task that they so spectacularly failed to get right today. What a pile of ****. I just hope they develop the intellectual capacity at some stage in the future to realise that their miserable station in life should leave them feeling as frustrated, angry and disappointed with themselves as I have been today. Somehow I don't think they'll ever be able to aspire to that clarity of thought.
