Another what color should i paint my bass?

So I got this 90's Fender Urge MIM that I love. I even like the current color as it turned greenish with the sun. Still, it has a significant crack on the top, and there's a mismatch just above the bridge as I replaced the original with a hipshot, and I am currently considering a paint job.

So I'm somewhat bored and want to hear what you guys think. If you have any other suggestions, shoot them in the comments.

Since you like the greened up current color, how about the original color with a yellowed top coat?

No one will notice the flaws but you. I'd keep it and go for natural relic.

I'd just keep it as is unless you really don't like the color. If that's the case, your preference in colors is all that matters.

I'd keep it as is, looks cool. Or paint it black. If I had to choose from your list I'd say sherwood green.

People pay a lot of money for the "relic'ed" look. (Don't ask how i know.) You have one naturally. Why not just put a proper clear coat on it and capture the beauty of the wear & tear?

Keep it just the way it is and play the hell out of it. That bass has got character that shouldn't be fiddled with, and no one will be impressed if you change it. Even you might like it less. Use it for the purpose it was put on this Earth: to make music.

Color and condition are highly personal choices, this is an excellent opportunity to 1) decide if you really want to go to the trouble of a full refinish for a little honest wear, and 2) if the answer to 1 is yes, deciding on color(s), and do you want body only or body and headstock.

Keep the body color and paint or swap the pickguard. Body looks awesome IMO

Since you said you like the color as is it's a 50/50 proposition.

But if you believe a new color will "up" your enjoyment of the bass, my vote is the Metallic Ice Blue. Refinishing to get a good look is either a) expensive if done by a pro or b) a frustratingly long process if you undertake it yourself.

Sherwood green is a good colour but British racing Green with a stripe is better.
You can call it the Frankenheimer bass.

I didn't vote because it's really up to you. If/when I get my bass refinished... it will be emerald green burst.

From the colors you listed, I think I would go with the Ice Blue Metallic. For something completely different than you mentioned, I feel Firemist Gold with matching headstock would look good with that fretboard.
