ANOTHER worth it thread...

I've posted about three of these in the past two months already, so please pardon my severe G.A.S....but anyways I'd like to know if this is worth it. It's pretty much my ideal bass, and I really want it. So before a tornado strikes my city (joking, but a tornado warning was just issued for my city), I'd like to know your guys' opinion. The seller claims it is in new condition, but I can't verify this. Pictures do look pretty good though.

I failed to clarify. This bass is not mine, and I'm looking to purchase it, not sell it.

Yeah, I was thinking about that swapping out the plates. I never let sigs affect price, but seeing as how these basses are so rare, I think it's hard for me to try and barter with him.

Yeah, I've read about the supposed cons about this bass. But I've only had my Ibanez to play for a very long time, and now, even a Jazz feels too awkward and wide for my hands. Ironically though, a P feels much better and is just the best feeling thing in the whole wide world, but we all know that and there aren't enough 6 string P's in the world.
