Any Clutch fans here ?

On my birthday. :D

In just a few short hours I get to see some of the best musicians ever take the stage again :bassist:
I'm like a kid on Christmas morning every time I get to see them! :hyper:

How was the show? With Lionize and The Sword? Out of curiosity, what time did Clutch hit the stage? I have tickets for the Orlando show but my flight lands at 6:50 that evening so I'm cutting it close. I'm hoping they don't start until 9:30 or 10. I don't care if I miss the support acts but I'm gonna be pissed if I miss Clutch!

I think constant touring with Lionize is the worst thing ever. They make me want to tear the eyeballs out of my head and shove 'em in my ears.

Really? I listened to a couple of their albums and I kinda liked it. Not much odds as I'm probably going to miss them. :D

To each their own - the bands (Clutch & Lionize) seem to get along famously and there have been guest appearances on both ends...but for me, any more than 5 minutes of that pseudo-reggae stuff and that's enough. I find them boring and can't wait unitl they vacate the stage.

Lots of folks like 'em.

Either way, enjoy the show!

The show was awesome!(just got back) I kind of 'missed' the first act, making sure we got swag and a few rounds in us. I heard 'em,but only saw their last tune..

Lionize was second, and they were 'meh..' The singer has a great voice, but between the keys and the bassist's EB-3,I don't think the overall tone could have been any muddier. It was a full set of speaker flub.

Orange Goblin was third, and they effin' ROCKED! The singer is a BEAST. He looks like Lemmy, has Ozzy's stage presence, and he's like 6'8,no joke. He's also a pretty cool dude after the show. The guitarist was killin' it out there, and the bassist absolutely shreds! I'm going to be checking them out for sure..

Which brings us to Clutch(i think they went on about 10)..Needless to say, they headline for a reason. They were nothing short of awesome,as usual. They came out with Big News 1,jammed into 2,and it just kept getting better. Lots of old stuff, lots of new stuff, wrapping up with more old stuff and Electric Worry and Shogun for the encore..HELLUVA SHOW!! :bassist:

Seeing them in Baltimore on Saturday! Couldn't be any more stoked! :bassist:

From what you guys are saying, and from the pics of their set lists the last couple of weeks, I already know it's going to be a killer show. Especially since it's a "hometown" show!
