You might be thinking of TC's 1140.

Empress ParaEQ:

I just ordered one, so we'll see. It's pricey but feature-wise it looks like just what I need.
What about the Sansamp Para Driver DIl?
...I started thinking that I liked the idea of the semi-parametric EQ of the MT-2.
I removed the mid scoop, changed the frequency of the filters, removed the clipping and changed the gain values.
It wasn't a walk in the park but it sounded great. Considering the cost of the MT-2 and the cost of the mod, I never though about offering it to my customers but I still have my notes. Do you think it could be interesting?
I do think that cost to the customer would be the only motivator there. After all, many amps nowadays have a sweepable mid EQ, and there are several semi-parametric pedals out there. So the appeal of a modded MT-2 would be if somebody already had an MT-2 lying about and they could very cheaply convert it into a decent EQ pedal. So perhaps you could sell the plans, or a mod kit with the parts and plans, for not much money. I wouldn't bother making the pedals and re-selling them though.

The only problem is that my notes are on the original Boss schematics. I cannot publish them as the schematics is covered by copyright. I would need to redraw the schematics![]()
