Any dedicated pedal parametric EQs out there?

I have a Boss PQ-3B (discontinued) that I got back in the mid-'90s, and I use it from time to time when I have an instrument or a cab that has a frequency response problem. I think it's way more precise and effective than a graphic EQ, and I'm glad I got it before it disappeared.

I'm just curious if anyone knows of any still-produced pedals (or even 1/2 rack add-ons) that are para-style, especially ones that can be used at instrument voltage levels (Tech21 ParaDriver doesn't count!).

Also, has anyone seen the Dunlop AC adapter that MF, Guitar Center, and probably others sell (model ECB-003 I think)? It says that it's regulated, but I'm hoping it's at least filtered so it's like a Boss PSA, and doesn't induce hum.

The EQ3B is a third rack unit with three pully parametric bands. They also make a 1/3 unit tube mic pre and a 1/3 unit compressor. I've often thought it would be fun to buy all three and hook them up for a pretty afforable pre-amp setup.

If you can find 1 of these, it'll get you there... EQ-wise.
Sub-$100 list... check the Bay.

Those are pretty cool units. I used to have one; FWIW I sold it a year or two ago for $50. The only downside is that it's battery operated only, though you can get around that by getting one of those adaptors from Radio Shack. I kind of wish that I still had it!

The Nathan East unit I've heard good things about, only it's a "cut" only unit. It's kind of limited, and works on only one freq at a time.

The PreSonus unit looks really nice, with adjustable Q (there's a parameter I always wanted to tweak) , a selectable roll-off, and three bands. I kind of like that it's not a pedal.

The Carl Martin looks very cool. I bet it costs, too.

I generally don't need a bypass feature on EQ, except to A/B the sounds. I'm just looking to set up an acceptable baseline sound (no pun intended), especially where the amp EQ is limited, or the cab just has a built-in weird sound for some reason, and needs to be ironed out.

I've got mine, ThumbyAche, but hold on to that one. It's a collector for sure!

Thanks for all the replies. Effects is a pretty active forum. I spend most of my time in Amps. I can't help myself...

The Yamaha is basically a scoop pedal. It cuts the mids and gives a more modern sound. It killedmy fretless tone dead.

Its a strange "pedal" as there is no footswitch but can be turned off via one of the dials. In Bypass mode it sucks tone like no other pedal I have ever tried.

I got tired of mine real quick. they look neat but could have been so much better with a little refinement.
