Yeah I just completed my final of the three (Mouser, to get the annoyingly specific XLR jack). I got enough to build a few to make it worthwhile

I have built a myriad of Nathan's boards. I would posit that the hardest part is making sure that the daughter boards have their connectors soldered in the right orientatiation.

i've had one of these for about 20 years (it was $189 when i bought it) and it still works perfectly but you can get them for well under $100 now:

"...a slightly altered 9v function generator found on Make.com and MFOS. The different modes can be accessed by one rotary switch instead of multiple toggles. I also added a white nose section that is a little too quiet compared to the other settings. The controls are simple; level controls the volume, frequency controls the tone, and the switch gives you lower or higher ranges of tone. It only needs one jack for output and is handy as a VCF for the Son of Nasal Cavity sample and hold or to test audio on circuits. It easily fits a 1590B."

I'd like to build an impedance testing rig using Craig Anderton's jig. It calls for a signal generator. Nothing fancy, I suppose. Just need to generate a sine at variable freqs and be able to amplify to a few volts.
That being said, your question has moved me in a direction that doesn't require me to get a full featured function generator. Gonna try this inexpensive one from Amazon and see how it goes.

Painted a flag of the United States during the month of December. This is for a MadBean Blue Steel, similar to a Boss Blues Driver built to Keeley phat mod specs. Sounds great on bass.

Painting 13 even stripes was the most challenging part of this build. I carefully measured and calculated needed widths then cut strips of masking tape using a ruler and utility knife. Brushed in the red stripes, then removed masking tape and alternated brushing in each color going slower and neater with each pass.

When Spaceman FX introduced the Equinox pedal, I couldn't help myself: I had to buy one.
It wasn't cheap, but I liked it. The only thing that bothered me was the large pedal format. So I decided to recreate the pedal. I wanted to pack it into a smaller pedal. (Later pedalpcb had the same idea. I could have saved a lot of money...)

The latest in my VFE arsenal. This one is the. VFE Stand Out. I have the Fuzz Duo, Pinball V3 with Tilt switch and the Bumble Bee on the bench next. Waiting on some parts. I bought a Pinball V3 w/ tilt on an Indigo campaign from VFE last year to show my support for the kids in the classroom. It’s a great hpf/lpf. The Stand Out is supposed to be more mid focused according to the description. It sounds pretty good on bass. I printed the knobs . It uses the V 2.7 MCU soft relay bypass that can also be used as momentary, pretty standard in all VFE SPS series pedals.

I bought about 40 of them while VFE had them in stock. They no longer have them but I think they may be available from Stompbox Parts and maybe Madbean
