Just finished up my Nobelium. Really nice sounding. I now get the “hpf then boost the bass knob” as I’ve never had a Noble. That being said, not sure if I’m keeping it.
LBA transformer, JJ tubes.

I am back DIYing pedals after 20 years. I have had a hankering to return to it for many years but I've tried to limit my number of hobbies to a couple. I bought a JPTR Warlow clone off Reverb and it was noisy as heck even when bypassed. I opened it up to figure out the issue and the builder had forgot to wire input ground to the rest of the pedal causing ground to float. I got my soldering iron out to fix it and the whole time I was thinking I could build a better pedal for cheaper.

So ... I built a bunch of stuff and now I'm starting to put them in enclosures and finish them up for my pedal boards.

First up is a Umbrella Company - Mayonaise. LOVE this. I built a Swollen Pickle at the same time figuring it would be nice to have two flexible muffs on my board but there is no situation where I would use the Swollen Pickle over the Mayonaise. I named my clone My Own Eyes which is the original name of the Smashing Pumpkins song I'd guess the Mayonaise is named for.

Next up is a Model feT clone for my bass board. I have an original Model feT I was able to A-B against when I biased the fets for my clone.

Last night I finished up a Prescription Electronics Clean Octave Blend clone. It's the octave section from the Foxx Tone Machine with a clean blend, and other tweaks.

Pink LEDs on everything. The ambient color in my room is changing to pink :)

I've been a bit lazy with posting builds, let's catch up with some of my latest.

Sushi Box Lab Rat. A rat with a James tone stack, SI/LED clipping and a tube output stage, running at 235V. Sounds are big, fat and glorious!

Valhalla (V1) on vero. A passive pickup simulator into a modified Meathead into a notch filter with bass/lower mids boost. The filter/tone section can be bypassed with the toggel switch "Tone". Nice fuzz.

Doom Bloom, on a fuzz dog PCB. Lots of different sounds on tap, I dig it.

Sonic Assault System. That's 2 PCBs from Moonn - they are supposed to be the opamp and transistor parts of a "only one exists" DBA pedal, that Mr. DBA built for himself.
That might or might not be the case ...
I put them in one enclosure, first opamp side with momentary feedback on a foot switch, then the tranistor side. I had to try different transistors to make this side work, so yeah, it probably is a DBA creation ;)

Finally, a Wizard Fuzz, I added a clean blend and clipping options (Si - none - LED).

I have a Submarine pcb coming today (along with a EAE Dagger, and a couple of more fuzzes). I have a bunch in my queue to build so I’m not sure when I’ll get to it either.

I also ordered the Drebbel preamp... and learned more about early inventers of submarines. Very satisfying for this Jules Verne fan.
Original was only looking to buy the Vibrobot tremolo pcb. I drew a stripboard layout back in 2021 and ordered the waveform generator IC then shelved the project since I never use tremolo. Time to give that IC a good home.
Added the Equilux pcb to cart as a project to get around to in the future. The Pultec trick thread convinced me to try this one out. Not really sure what to expect, but apparently there is magic to be found within this parametric EQ's.

Yeah, I'm waiting for them to post the build doc. I built up PedalPCB's Plumes clone recently, so I want to see if I can make a switchable Blumes/Plumes hybrid out of it. Depends on how many components are different, but from what I can gather from the discussions, the Blumes is not too different from the Plumes.

Info you need from the PPCB forum is here: #10

Need to change out 3 resistors & 5 capacitors (including the 1k on C9) AND
Gain pot change.

I don't think a toggle will do it, but a rotary might.

I'd also like a hybrid Plumes/Blumes because listening to a shootout I preferred the Plumes.
So... Maybe I should breadboard the circuit and tweak it to my own taste and forget about making it switchable.

Thank you, I just saw that. Yeah, having it switchable may be a bit of work. I'm contemplating doing something similar, but with sockets in those positions on my board.
