It started 2-3 years ago, with a workshop by the guy behind LAL. I didn't know how to solder and was totally clueless in terms of electronics. After that, I did 2 kits, then just got PCBs all over the place. I mainly build fuzzes - either stuff that I just want to try out or stuff, because that's gone or hard to get/very expensive.
It's good fun.
Here are some of my recent builds, I like to dress 'em up a bit:
Paradrive (PCB by Damnation Audio), bass version with added clipping options on both sides.
Silver Rose (V1), PCB by Deadend FX; parallel Muff and Superfuzz with clean blend.
Another Deadend PCB (love those guys), à la
Sputnik II.
Doom Machine, double pedal (2 Pedalpcb PCBs), Life Pedal and FZ-2, with order switch.
Bass Boost/OD, that doubles as an 2-3W amp, driving cabs. Design and PCB by Dunwich.
