I should have known really, it's apparently based on the Ross circuit which for me isn't ideal for bass. I'm wanting more of a dbx rackmount style compressor in a pedal and the only comps I've built like that are versions of the Engineer's Thumb circuit. So having built the FuzzDog and DeadEndFx versions I'm now going to make the PedalPCB one since they've just released it and that can go in the Delegate enclosure. Maybe I'll put the Delegate in a guitar multifx enclosure one day since I have a collection of unused, unboxed builds now...

Definite mojo with TO-18. Not as much as with TO-38, which has up to 20% more mojo. Someday, I may be able to tame the mojo of some of the old stuff my grandpa left me.@AudioTaper Love the TO-18 2N2222As, they add at least 17.93% more mojo, IIRC. The Terminal is based on the FY-2 Companion, or a period clone from that era? I think I saw "JAX" mentioned somewhere... I'm wondering how close to the original Companion EQD got. If it works well for guitar I'll just keep it for that. My guitar playing is worse than my bass playing, and I dont even have a proper amp. My friend from work is gifting me a loaded 4x12 cabinet (Jensen, not sure which model) and I'll probably power it with a vintage Peavey Mark 3 bass amp and the PedalPCB Mesa Flux Drive clone. Will it sound good? Eh? But it will be loud.![]()

Ha, I was also wondering about that mids switch and thought, I'll just ask you if you might know ... Also, if it's on-on-on, there's typ 1 and typ 2 ....
And I guess the first pair of diodes is just something silicon, like 1N4148?

The way the mids switch works is that it puts caps in parallel with the two caps that are always attached to the mid EQ. When in the middle off position you have the default caps and then in two outside positions you are putting in parallel caps to make a different effective cap value.
