Any fun songs to play on a 5 string?

27555178[/URL], member: 398685"]I recently got a 5 string Markus Miller Squire. I've looked at the well known 5 string songs (Dig, Obsidian, Kill or be Killed) but does anybody know any hidden gems, it doesn't have to be metal, just some thing funky I could mess around with.

try playing as much of the Jamiroquai Traveling Without Moving album as you can.

This one in particular I always test a B string with:

Paramore or Kem’s debut albums have lots of underrated B string goodness also.

A few songs my band does that I LOVE to play on my 5ers:

Waterloo ABBA - I start the chorus chromatic run from the low D, and go as high in the song as A (2nd fret G string) using all 5 strings woohoo!

Black Velvet in original Eb. Doesn't need all 5 strings but IMO that low Eb is essential

It's My Life (No Doubt version). I use the B string a lot for that great line between verse and chorus .

Have fun!

Always loved this tune as a perfect example of not just what's fun to play on a 5-string, but also what almost has to be played on a 5-string
Peter Gabriel's "Steam" with Tony Levin on his 5-string Stingray:

That breakdown at 3:57 is a textbook example of What A Low B String Is Good For
