Ok, so I'm gonna be seeing some mountain action this weekend after almost a 2 week break since I pulled a leg muscle. I should probably wait 2 more weeks but I'm itching to get back on my bike. Pics to come.

@mac tony: The main thing to know is that it's FUN. Rode(& walked)my old SS around my local main ride this morning. I catch myself laughing on the descents- it's just fun. It's a woopin calorie-burner too, so you sometimes get/need to eat a lot.
So when the description says something along the lines of "Fits such and such height to such and such height," is that usually pretty accurate? If I am 5'7" with a high butt and long legs, should I be on the tall end or short end of the allowable scale?
What is hard tail? Does that mean the seat and/or real wheel doesn't have as much give?

I ride a small (15") but I'm right on the cusp. I'm also 5'7" but I have freakishly short legs so I'm guessing you'd ride a medium. Hard tail means there's only suspension in front, it doesn't have rear end "give" but that teaches you to be a better rider.
Let me know when you score a bike, we should organize a OC/SoCal TB ride!
