Yeah.. I guess you could say I'm pretty big-time.. I tour constantly and I'm known where I figure it counts.. with the scruffy bastards in the back of the truck. I'm welcome at most aftershow parties, I'm told, although I've never yet finished work in time to test that.
Yes, I chose the path of the Roadie, I do alright, and I love my job, I can be seen in various "tour documentaries", I'm "thanked" at the end of a fair few Live DVD's, I've seen the world (from the loading-bay and the upstairs-lounge), toured in every country that really does Rock'n'Roll, and when I line check a bass people dig it.
Everytime I try to get a band going, the band sucks, and even though a few, I think, have had potential to not suck, I always muck up the chances by going to work for 3 months, and then again, and again. Until I quit my job I will never really be in a band, but I've had my hands on a fair few tasty famous basses! I'm on-stage every damn day, and I've been out with more famous bands than any performer ever could.
