any smokers switch to Vaping yet? [PART 2]

A lot of people say that their first cigarette after a long absence is disgusting!

Not me! :roflmao:

After nearly 5 years of not touching a cigarette, I drunkenly shared two cigarettes with a co-worker at the office Christmas party. It was every bit as awesome as I remembered and imagined it would be. Pure Nirvana! I regret nothing! :woot:
I’m with you. After forty odd years I traded the smokes for a vaping machine five years ago so I could see these kids grow up. You can bet.... If the Doc tells me tomorrow I have a week left, my next stop is for two cartons of Winston’s.

Way To Be, James!

Me? I’m rockin’ along at 6mg...down from 24 three years ago.
I’m Really happy with it.
Swerkin’ for me!

I just can’t imagine under what circumstances...not a desert isle, not an impending meteor...
I would smoke another cigarette.

I stopped being a 20-day man four or five years ago, although I bought up all the 24mg in my flavour and now have to make do with 18mg. Originally, I just thought "well, if it gets me through the flight from Manchester to Malaga" but it took over completely and a real cigarette (maybe 3 in the last two years) is for when I can't get any battery/atomizer combination to work.
Ironically, at least in Britain, there's been a real backlash against vapes and I get told to stop in an indoor area by people 40ft from me even though I just use little things that wisp a bit out of my mouth - flights are a dead no-no. Being controversial here, but I get irked by people who think punting out great wads of propylene glycol at a bus stop makes them look cool and are ruining the chances of any acceptance of a needy sucker getting a quick snort.
The excellent Dom Joly does a modern take on Candid Camera and his spoof of self-righteous, anti-social vapers does strike a chord with me:

(Where should I go to spend time with some like-minded people who might appreciate a look at my beautiful new rig?)

My new vape from

is a bit chunkier, a bit heavier than what I’ve become accustomed to...but I’ll betcha I come to grips with that.

Just wanted to share!

Used a Smok Alien when I quit cigs. The finish got really messed up when I dropped it so I polished it.

Maybe 6 months into vaping, it started making me short of breath, my heart would race and I'd get dizzy. My oncologist and others couldn't tell me why so I quit. It would happen after 1 or 2 hits of 3mg (even 1.5mg) juice, so I don't believe it was nicotine related. Wish I knew what it was that caused it.

From my experience. when you get short of breath and your heart races, it's usually nic related, and your body is telling you to reduce the intake. If you're that low, your body's rejecting the nicotine, YAY! Other than that, it could be a reaction to PG, VG, or something in the flavourings.
Well thanks for the reply. I'm tempted to try some nic free juice. Only because I've been craving a smoke lately, especially with coffee.
