Sweet-Vapes sells them too, I've thought about trying one out... my cousin is looking to start vaping and I'd rather get her something I can hand her instead of telling her what to order. She's a law student with one semester left after this one before taking the bar exam... her time and focus is elsewhere. She vapes my stuff when we hang out and complains about how cigarettes make her smell in a professional environment.

Well, after a few hours with it, I like it.

Its nice and compact in the hand, it does seem to be made of the same parts they sell, in that it does have a sort of "breakable" feel. I'm sure if you're careful with it, it'll be fine.

Overall, not a bad $50 spent. It does the job and does it pretty decently. No complaints so far.

Good idea on handing her the device rather than have her shop. I know a few people that it would just be a better way of approaching it, and if you give someone an ecig, they really have no excuse!!

i have been eyeing the grippers too ... along with all the LT clones, provari's, etc ...

my initial issue is that being a contractor, i get paid weekly. sounds convenient, until you start paying bills and crap. and i was sick the last couple of weeks, with no insurance. dropping more than 30$ on a device at this point seems a bit harsh ... when i get get another twist for that, shipped ... with change.

if i were to get hired on full time, my pov would radically change, and quite rapidly i believe.

oh, and i screwed up and have developed GAS for a Zenisis. i love efficient designs ... and that thing is just the epitome. i would have to develop a taste for an all-day vape however ... and at 14 weeks in, i still have not. taste buds are still changing every week. I am back on a ry4 kick this week. the last couple of weeks were orange cream. before that was usa mix from goodprophets.

After having read most of this thread, and being intreagued by it, I just ordered an Ego twist vision kit and some juices from sweet vapes. Really wondering if this is something for me or not, as I've never tried any e-cigs, but great if it is. I'm currently going through almost a pack of marlboro red a day, and have been smoking for about 15 years.

on the VF, in the freebies thread, mamu posted that she had 2 mods that needed a good home - one of her original flippies and a Dena!

fortunately, a local friend, fellow vaper, and fellow bassist texted me at work and let me know about it minutes after she posted it ... and i snagged a free VV mamu mod!!!

I also have a dual 14500 Dena mod. The digits on the voltage reader are a bit smudged, otherwise it's in very good condition. Dena has the OKR converter with a thumbwheel to adjust the voltage. The batt slots in Dena will only accept a batt on the smaller size, so only the AW IMR 14500 batts fit - I'll include 2, but you should also have a spare pair.

this is soo much cooler than throwing money away on a LT that will just break in a week ... so i am looking for another set of 14500's, a charger, and a rebuildible drippy atty tonight.

and, hopefully, i am getting hired on full time at the job next week. things are in motion that will require me to have an admin account, and they DO NOT give those to contractors. a packagin' and distributin' i shall go ...

no, i haven't had the cash for a LT, batts, and charger yet ... still rocking the twist as my main device, with kgo's and egos as backup ...

normally when i go to work, i have my twist with orange cream in a t2, one of my kgos with a t2 full of either darkness or ry4, and my little 650 ego with the weird flavor of the day. i like the 650 with a carto and cone for pocket friendliness. the kgos drop 4.1-4.2v straight off the charger, and maintain that for a good while ...

i almost pulled the trigger on a gripper a few weeks ago, but bills, back to school junk, being poor, crappy job, all have taken precedence.

Good Luck! I'm back working (somewhat)... I have a KILLER new job lined up, but they are fighting the red tape of getting my salary approved by the CFO (I talk with them a couple times a week, the guy I'll be working for wants me there NOW). Until then, I've got a 30ish hour a week job doing IT work for a local airbrush magazine... nice people, but not money or hours enough for a long term commitment.

Now I just need to actually GET paid (still 5 days away) so I can order juice... I've been vaping that year old 'sweet tea' all week :help:

Nov 2010 for me... I cashed out my 401k and did unemployment for a little while. It's been a hard couple years!

Congrats on making a year Rip! Getting past 2, I'm still not sure if I'll ever be giving up vaping. I'll never smoke again, but I do enjoy a good vape :smug:

Went to the doctor's yesterday for my BP follow-up, and she asked me when I thought I would quit vaping. :eek:
She was all for the vape at first, but now she's after me to quit. I think HC has been bugging the docs to get people off it, and on BP's junk. :eyebrow:
Closing in on year one for me as well. :D

That's funny cuz my doc fully supports me vaping and thinks its great that I'm not smoking. He says my numbers (from blood work, not sure what it told him) and by listening to my chest it's like I don't smoke.
