any smokers switch to Vaping yet?

I got a 21 Century Smokes 'Big Slick' bought for me by my son for Fathers Day.

I have to say that I actually prefer it.
No smell of smoke in my hair, or on my clothes.
It addresses the hand-to-mouth habit (when people quick cold-turkey they often take to eating. It isn't just the nicotine no longer acting as an appetite suppressant, it's the hand-to-mouth habit becoming food-to-mouth that makes people put on weight).
'er indoors lets me smoke it inside.

I've still supplemented (had a battery issue, so reverted to the real thing...), but prefer to use the vape.

I'm on heavy nicotine content right now, but plan on weaning off. 21 Century go all the way down to 0%.

There was one occasion where I had a club soda with Angostura bitters in it - a fake cocktail - and my e-cig.
Fake cocktail and fake cigar.
The 25 year old inside me (I'm 47) was crying.

so, me and the wife just got back from AltSmoke's opening shindig at the new Cincinnati store. juice bar was pretty cool ... tried a few i liked, but only one enough to buy. they had several 808 spinners and a crapload of 808 threaded T3's already loaded, and a basket of those ecblend silicone tips (which for the record, kind of suck on a kanger tip).

i got nicQuid midnight express ... kinda chocolatey, nutty, tobacco-y, and maybe a hint of cognac. pretty complex for me, the single flavor @ 10% guy.

Rachel got a bottle of Jamesons forbidden fruit ... really tasty juice. she got a new smoke color vivi to put it in.
i got a sheet of 400# SS mesh since they had it ...

I GASed hard over the Omega for a while before discovering the GLV stuff. I have friends that own Silver bullets and the BB. I stopped visiting their site long ago when they were caught selling "Cisco" attys long after Cisco (avidvaper) stopped supplying them (and they were far inferior) and when they started selling rip offs of the Cherryvape Pawn and Ming drip tips (both venders I still use regular and exclusively for attys and driptips).

Just cracked another bottle of Adam's Apple open today. It's become one of my favorites. The menthol is there, but not overpowering, and it tastes like a Sweet Tart according to my girlfriend.

Pink Spot is another favorite among my group of friends. It tastes a lot like Fruit Stripe gum to me. I like it "on the rocks" which is their menthol or cooling flavor added.

I'm going to try some of the Namber juice line before too long. Anyone have any flavors from other places they want to recommend?

ok ... epic vapemail day. got my silver max today ... it's like it was form fit for my huge hand ... build quality is second to none - it's like Mamu made a rectagular provari ... only it's dna20d powered ...

I REALLY like Queenside from Five Pawns but it's a slight bit on the spendy side. Really not all that bad price-wise compared to a lot others. And I've also been enjoying NW Vapors Peachy Peppermint and MT Baker's Pineapple upside down cake. I did buy a bottle of Virgin Vapors Organic Kona Milkshake. It's good but I just really haven't been a fan of coffee flavored juice.

So I guess my signature now is: Fodera, Sadowsky, FBass, MusicMan, Bergantino, Vamo, Zmax, Kanger:confused::D

The only coffee flavor I had wasn't so hot. I haven't found a tobacco flavor I like yet either.

My care package from pink spot came in today complete with a personalized note and a few free samples. The free sample I tried in a boge tasted like strawberry starburst.

i have discovered that the wife likes the lorann strawberry, which i can pick up at walmart. 7 months of DIY, and i find her flavor 2 miles away.

James, i am a born again dripper. i'm going through much less juice these days. i fried my favorite 2Ω 510 the other night at work ... going to have to survive on my rbas and my converted ce3 dripper for a week or two until i can order some new atties.

i've converted more people ... a guy i used to work with, that randomly married a girl i hung out with back in high school ... both of them are vaping full time now. a few other people at work have been picking up the blus ... but they are in the cigalike phase. i think one is ready to step up to a bigger battery soon. he's probably dropping $100 a week on blu disposables ...

I swear it is why I use so little juice. I also find it much cleaner and convenient. 901 with a drip shield and a solid post stealth adapter lets me load 2 or 3 cigs worth of pulls at a time. My GLV lives in my pants pocket with little worry of leaking... when I had a tank on my stuff, I was always worried I'd leak 3+ml all over myself.

I have a coworker that has a 510 automatic stick (I don't recall the name)... I've explained what he has a few times but being a VP of Sales, he tends to sell NOT learn when at the office. Yesterday we were having a conversation and I sat him at my desk and showed him the ecig forum, CASAA, etc. There was ZERO info about his brand of 510 sticks (that he says is the BIGGEST brand in Brooklyn and North Jersey... I replied "How cute").

I took one of his old fiber filled cartos and popped the top. He has never refilled one... just drops $20 on a new 5 pack every 10 days. I topped his generic tobacco flavored carto with my 6mg/ml Cinnamon, told him it might be nasty... but told him my $20 bottle is 30 days vs his $20 10 days.

I think he gets it now.

I saw a co-worker smoking one of these electronic cigarettes. It looked interesting but I always liked the part when the cigarette burns down to the butt. Smoking while driving & while drinking was always the nicest times to smoke. Also after bigass meals. The electric cigarette doesn't seem very nice for those occasions. It must be nice not to have smelly hands & clothes though.

Luckily for me, I was never addicted. Smoked on & off for ten years, never more than a pack a week. Quit almost four years ago when I got my house because I had always planned on getting a treadmill & running when I got my first house. This was before the big price increase on cigarettes here in Munchkinland.

I used this little machine to make the cigarettes. It was a little blue machine that you put the tobacco in & it pushed the tobacco into an empty cigarette tube thing. It was neat & saved some cash on schmokes. I forgot what it was called. Highly recommended if anyone's into that.

we rolled our own for 2 years before we started vaping. 2 people, going through about 2 cartons a week, went from $120 a week to $20. and, the tobacco we got to roll was labelled as pipe tobacco, so it didn't have all the extra chemicals and fire retardants and whatnot. i think that made it easier for us to make the switch - we were already off the random crap they pump in there to get the nicotine to you faster.

gave my machine to my little sister after the wife had been off smokes for 2 weeks, and we haven't looked back.
i sat outside last night and had a couple of yeunglings with a friend of mine who's mom lives down the street - even outside with a nice breeze, her marlboro lights were reeking. i don't think you can appreciate how bad cigarettes smell until you get away from them for a while ... because in the back of your head, you are thinking "i used to smell like that?" ...

Better in every way... to me.

Whenever I've left the company of a smoker with the wife (never smoked herself), I have to apologize to her for when I was a smoker.

I'm the same way. There's something about being able to taste the meal that makes it better as well.
:bassist:

I haven't tried dripping yet. I'm not sure exactly what I want to get to try that. I enjoy the convenience of charging a battery and refilling my clearos too much to drip at work. I could see doing that at home to keep how much juice I'm using in check.

After a few days to a week with the EVODs, I really like them. These are by far my favorite clearos, and I'd easily recommend them over the stardusts or the T2/CE2 models. They seem really responsible to my VV with the standard resistance coils in them.

I really enjoy Pink Spots's Riptide flavor. Tastes just like the gatorade flavor to me.

I really like the Kangers and thought that the Evod was the best thing since sliced bread. But I've been having a lot of trouble with leaking and juice in the mouth. I do love my Protank and the new DBox Puritank. I've been playing around with my Evods trying to figure out what the heck is going wrong.

I wanted the glass tank so that I could try Klorine and Nana's Cream from Vapetrik I might even try to chase down some Pluid for fun.

Pbusardo and others have some good videos on the EVODs, both on rebuilding, performance issues, and leaks. I'm not sure if he was the one that addressed the leaking issue, but maybe that'll get you pointed in the right direction. I prefer higher VG juices, and I guess that they don't leak as bad being thick?

I haven't personally experienced a leak with these, but my stardusts were bad about leaking and coming apart in my pockets. The only issue I have with them is occasionally I get a little condensation in my mouth. I feel like these are the best thing I've ever vaped though.
