any squier people help me out.

^ true i see where you're getting at. I once owned a squire p-bass. I bought it at a pawn shop for 150. The standard black with white PG. How Is petes bass compared to the other squiers? I already know about the tone knob gone and that doesn't bother me.

It has a Jazz profile neck, and a more or less "licence built" 1/4 pounder pickup, so the neck will be skinnier (like a Jazz bass) and it will have a hotter more aggresive sounding pickup.

I've tried a few out, and it's not a bad bass for the money. While 1/4 pounders and Jazz necks aren't my personal preferance, it's a pretty decent bass for the price in my opinion.
