Hello Tony.
I did read some post of you in the past, and you know a lot of about DI.
I'm kind of purist sound. I really like the very clean sound of my bass when I'm not using any effect.
So Tell me about Radial JDV. I'm really looking to buy one.
Tks.
I'm self admitting a DI dork after being the house player for 3 different studios.
I will say this that the JDV is the cleanest out there and a lot of it is due to that HUGE 30 volt rail voltage. It was my elusive live DI but I replaced it with the Basswitch. The Basswitch also has a other features that I could use so its lives on my big board. The JDV is one of the leading re-ampting tools for guitarists because of how clean it is, and that says something.
What you put in is what you get out...No questions asked.
If you want the ultimate clean DI:
Radial JDV
The Ultimate thick DI with color:
REDDI
If your looking for flexibility, tone capability,
enough signal to a power amp, channel switching,
do your taxes, ect, ect, in a pro package:
Basswitch
(The above description does not do enough justice for the Basswitch)
Quick convince with warmish saturation passive box:
Radial JDI (although I use it/prefer it more with Keys and Electric-Acoustic guitar now).
I hope my experience helps...
