If you look at mine above they are skirted, with Pau Ferro bodies, Cherry caps, a slice of Ebony veneer between the two woods, and a Pau Ferro position dot in the Cherry cap. One of them is a stacked knob (which actually counts as two knobs, price-wise). I had the skirted and the stacked altered slightly so the stacked would look as close to a regular skirted knob as possible.
They were not just simple one-wood knobs, they were very detailed and multi-wood custom jobs made specifically for my bass (Pau Ferro FB and Cherry top)
