All I ended up doing to the 007 was a simple bezel swap - silver with black in the same style as the original black with silver. I'll see if I can get a pic posted.

My Seiko SSA003K2 arrived yesterday
Link Removed
It turns out that getting automatics out here is quite a struggle. Finally, after almost 3 weeks of running after every brick and mortar Seiko retailer in the city, I gave up and ordered on Amazon.
Thanks a bunch to everyone on this thread, especially the OP @HeavyDuty - I wouldn't have got this had I not come across this thread![]()
I'm waiting for my latest automatic to arrive from Singapore - a Seiko SRP637.
May I ask where you ordered it from?
BTW, after that that Seiko I posted about a few posts back, I've already bought a couple of other watches in the past month - a simple Weekender and an Eco-Drive. I'm already mulling getting my next automatic within the next few months, and this is when I've basically had only 4 or so watches before this in my life. I think this thread might have led me onto a GAS-y path.
Dig! I will never have the wrists for something that big, but that's killer all the same.
It wears a little bigger than my Monsters, but it's very doable. I was worried it would be too big.Dig! I will never have the wrists for something that big, but that's killer all the same.
What style appeals?
My understanding is that it's almost identical to the 7S26 movement in the 21 jewel seiko 5s like mine (posted earlier), and is generally considered as reliable, accurate etc.Anyone have the Seiko 5 sport automatic with the 23 jewels and if so, would care to comment on it?
