Horns? Yeah! By section! Like the Tower of Power Horns? Next someone won’t like those three lady singers!

You can always turn the horn down or off.I understand why they are there and their purpose. I just don't like the way they look aesthetically. Probably a sacrilegious viewpoint. But I can't be the only one, can I?
Personally, I like horns. Nice matched symmetrical horns. Devil-ish looking horns.

Unfortunately, there are some sick people in the world who don't like horns.......

This poor bass has now been surgically repaired, and is recovering nicely.

These are rare 1967 Ampeg Devil Basses, in case you are wondering.
They really belong on the keyboard player and preclude the need for "more cowbell":
You don't want your solid-body electric instrument to resonate:
myth-busting: Resonance is not synonymous with Vibration

That (fretted one) is one freakin' cool looking bass man.Personally, I like horns. Nice matched symmetrical horns. Devil-ish looking horns.

How do these basses sound played through that circa 1930s radio?
How on earth did you ever find two of those? Beyond cool...
If it has horns, I will not listen:
"They don't give a damn about any trumpet playin' band
It ain't what they call Rock and Roll"
Shooting blood from their eyes can be a little off-putting.
Weird that people call them toads or frogs.
