Anyone else with Carvin mixer issues?

We have a 16 channel Carvin board barely 2 yrs old and well treated. One channel now has an insert jack that interrupts the signal and doesn't return. Last gig I had another channel go dead, probably the same reason.

Is this something common with Carvin equipment?

It's common, period. Plug a connector in & out a few times and it will hopefully clear up. If not, get a TRS plug, connect the tip and ring together, and plug it in.

I've done the ol in & out with the plug to no avail.

But thanks for the idea of jumpering the plug. I'll give that a try.

I just hope this trend doesn't continue on the board.
