Anyone ever run outa gas?

Today I started a friend down the low-end road with his already owning his father's '75 Fender P Bass and he is starting You Tube lessons right now...

I will explain G.A.S. to him this summer when he is ready for his first band!

My previous post was Dec 7, and since then, Ibanez have announced the release of a new EHB model and I've already I messaged my fave bass store and told them to get me one. Whether they make it here or not is moot, I'd still like one.

I also ran into a friend on Christmas Eve who used to do luthier work and now specialises in other custom woodwork. He's agreed finally to build me the custom he promised many years ago, so there are 2 potentially coming in. The old build spec, and the new build spec are light years apart. It's been a long time since Santa visited my abode.

Still gonna sell a lot of stuff though, and mod some of the rest with the PUs and other parts I already have on hand.

My GAS waxes and wanes... but never completely stops. Lately I've been on a waning period, which is fortuitous since it's Christmastime and property tax season. During this waning period I've had the time to get back my A-B-C-D'ing of 4 compressors (EBS Multicomp, Keeley Bassist, MXR M87, Cali76 Stacked)... and now that's kinda helping to fire up my GAS again.
