I'm loathe to do this but I send this fellow a rather pricey one-of-a-kind bass for repair over a year ago and haven't heard from him for months, despite repeated emails and phone calls. He's in Madbury, NH. I suppose I could do a road trip (I'm in the DC Metro area) but hope is fading... Any suggestions appreciated.

I'd be sending an email with a response deadline - like 2-3 business days max at this point - outlining the exact steps I am going to take should that deadline pass without response. I'd keep it 100% business. It's not personal, it's professional. It's not like he's singling you out. For him, and thousands of other small businesses opened by folks who may be great at what they do but may be less than fully adept about running the show, it's just business as usual.

I'm going to answer my own question: yes, it's the same guy as Stonewall Pickups Contact

about a year ago I had a brief exchange regarding differences between the innumerable P90 models he makes, because website information was either nonexistent or entirely buzzword fluff. He replied after about a month saying he'd get back to me and that he'd been meaning to update the website. I followed up a couple times after since I was genuinely interested in the pickups but he never replied
