So I was playing, and my amp just stopped working right in the middle of it, 0 sound came out except for a weird clicking noise then about 15-20 seconds after it came back, then it did it again but only for a second.

I run bass>tuner>distortion>sansamp di>Ampeg>peavy headliner 2x10 and 4x10

Sounds like the overload protection circuit in the amp was tripping. Check the load speakers are placing on the amp - is it 2 or 4 ohms? There's a good chance that you are trying to drive a load with an amp that is not rated for that load. Or you are simply playing at too high a volume for the amp to keep up.

I checked everything and last night there was a weird static sound coming out, but this morning when I was playing everything was fine. What I think it was, was the DI + the settings on my amp made it overload and it couldn't keep up with how loud it was, like what you guys said.

and to answer turnaround it's a 4 ohm head with 2, 8 ohm cabinets

So I think there might actually be a issue

I was just playing and it was all normal then it started cutting out again and I was at low volumes like maybe on 4 and only using my distortion, and when it came back the amp was a lot quiter then it was before

Everything the cables are good and the cabs and and head seem fine, I can't tell 100% tho since I'm not going to open it up and check out the inside .

Any idea of what may of happen?

Really???? When I got these along time ago, everyone said you have to have 2 8ohms to make 4ohms, and running a 210 and 410 together is 100% fine

I think you just got a bad one. It's been working great for the past year and half. But when all this happened I was using a tech21 sansamp programmable di, then that got out of hand, like when it was off it was normal, right when I turned it on, no matter which channel I was on whether it was the one that boosted my clean, or dirtied it, or just pure overdrive, it started shaking everything in my room and made it overly loud, so I have a feeling this happened because of that maybe, but I'm not sure

Theh PF500 is a 4ohm amp, so your 2x8ohm cab set up should be fine.
That being said, the overload protection circuit on the PF500 is very touchy. Yes, it's there to protect the amp, but it has a history of tripping under loads that seem perfectly in spec. The PF500 also has a bit of a failure history, but it sounds as if you have used yours for a while with this set-up.

I have one myself (paired with a PF115HE), and while I like it perfectly fine, mine has done exactly the same thing to me on gigs - hard shut down while being used at fairly modest levels - at an 8ohm load too.
By all means, have it checked out, but you may just find out that you have found the limits of what the amp will tolerate.
