Anyone has good relations with the guitarists here? ...

The guitarist in my last band is one of my best friends. We talk almost every day. I think some of the negative gereralizations and deprecating remarks you may hear are the result in some cases of immaturity and some cases friendly rivalry. :bassist:

Now, Vocalists on the other hand.......:eyebrow:

i like my guitarist... he's a good guy, and he's really tallented. he goes to high school with me, track, cross country, we hang out. he's kinda weird and does things that still puzzle me, but you get used to it. the only thing that bugs me is that he insits on pointing is amp directly at me. that makes me angry...

:)

My guitarists of my life have and continue to treat me very well. My jam buddy is constantly hyping me up to everyone, the only drag of that is I don't like people telling me how awesome I am, and I feel that I don't live up to the hype.

In my current band, the guitarists ask me to play busier from time to time and are totally down with my waaaaaay in your face tone. I consider myself a rhythm guitarist and a bassist, or so my tone suggests.

I have absolutly nothing against guitarists. On the contrary, the guitarist is as much part of the band as I am and its great. My brother is a guitarist, I dont see what the big deal is with bassists vs guitarists thing, sounds ridiculous to me...
