Anyone Have $4,200 for a New Bass?

This. I'm in the same boat.
It is beyond rediculous to make a bass for a guitarist. With the electronics on this thing, the price is quite outrageous.
That said, as someone who doesn't like the V shape, I find this bass kinda nice looking. I don't think I'll ever have that kind of disposable income, but it does look nice to me.
I could buy three or four of them if I wanted, but wouldn't that bass look just "great" hanging on my 73 yr. old, white haired body??
OK, you guys are confusing me. Please just give me a straight answer: what's the best metal for bass?
thats a huge waste of 4200 dollars.. eww looking, looks cheap even. For 4200 you could get a boutigue bass with incredible wood grain and all that crap, but instead someone gets a jackson? ouch... just my opinion in basses though

It would be hard to justify that kinda money for a spot on replica of one of Randy's famous six-strings, but to fabricate a bass that has absolutely nothing to do with him (at any price) is pure sacrilege.
In this day and age, how many of these do they expect to sell?
It's part of the new "Green" initiative. The 9 volt will power your amp, via the output and input jacks, and remove the need to plug into an electrical outlet.
Nobody can deny the coolness of this bass.
