Anyone have any info on this Cab?

I have since found that it is actually 2-15" speakers with Internal Crossover design...Missing one speaker...suggestions or info would be much appreciated...
Can you pull the grille off and take a picture? Would be much easier to identify that way. Is the grille blue or black?
The speakers are angled and face each other...missing the lower speaker at the moment...need to know any info if possible, has a 4 pin connector in the back that I know nothing about and can't find any info on it either... are there any type of adapters to 1/4" or do I have to change it out?
That can easily be changed to a regular 1/4" jack. There's only two wires in there not four. I don't remember how they were wired but the old Ampegs with those 4 prong jacks were wired so that if the speaker were unplugged with it on it disabled the circuit so the head wouldn't get damaged. Those cabs are killer. Those look like CTS speakers. I think those things were 8 ohms so if you're going to use an SVT you won't get full power out of it and the power tube may wear a little quicker than they should, so you should pick up another one
.I'll see if I can locate the "OLD" Ampeg catalogs I've got so I can confirm this, but, I believe the V4B cabinets came originally loaded with two, 15", Altec Lansing drivers.
Think they we're 421A's or something to that effect.....(I believe it was the same 15" drivers as was used in the Altec Voice Of The Theater P.A. cabinets.)
I remember it being said back then this was Ampeg's answer to the Acoustic 360/370 cabinet.

The connectors are 2 black and white wires (from each speaker) to the 4 pin connectors...so would I hook up the 1/4" input the same way? (New to electrical work)...posted pic above.
There are two black and white wires from each speaker? Maybe it can be wired for both 4 and 16 ohms? Can you take another picture that shows the speaker connections, right from the jack back to the speakers? That would be helpful.
Yeah, it has a switch on the back of the cab that goes from four to sixteen ohms! I will take the pics and load them...thanks so much to all for the help so far!!!

Page 4.
Ampeg V4B bass cabinet, two 15" Altec Lansing 421A speakers.
No other drivers we're listed as available for the V4B cabinet except the Altecs.....
If Altecs were the only option,
there is a good chance the cab is tuned for Altecs.
The 421-8H series II would be the prime choice.
That would give it a fair shot at surviving an SVT...
if used with some degree of care.
I think the Voice of the Theater cabs used 418s.

Alright good, that means it will match up with an SVT. The speakers must be 8 ohm speakers, in series they would be 16 ohms and in parallel they would be 4 ohms. I would wire them for 4 ohms which means keep the black together and the white together. Look to see which wires go to positive mark on the speakers (+ or red dot) and put those to the center (tip) of the 1/4" jack and the others go to the negative or larger part of the jack. Let me know, you won't need to post pictures again unless you want to (always helps though) You will have a killer cab with the correct speaker in there. Actually though if you want to keep the switch in the circuit we would have to see the wiring scheme. Forgot about that, unless you just want to permanently wire it for 4 ohms.
The later 70s product brochures list EVM-15L as the stock speaker, but the early ones did list the 421A as you mention.
