Anyone have test or own a Bacchus Bass

Well you got me !!:hiding::hiding:
I bought the first one just for curiosity , I didn't know Bacchus basses , but I bought the 3 others just after . Just can't miss basses like this !!:bassist::D
I am really curious about the new ones but guess I'll have to wait for ..:bawl:,searching for a PB :help::help:
For less the price of a Fender CS I bought 4 Bacchus. That's was a real bargain !!:hyper::hyper:

Played a P once and thought it nicer that the MIJ Fenders. Mind you I like the MIJ Fenders. Wanted one ever since.
Do agree on the pups - the one I played was a bit bright and harsh. Would stand out from behind a keyboard though...

The pickups on my P are bright, but that's what the tone knob is for, they really fatten up amazingly well when you roll some off. You can go from JJ Burnel to Steve Harris to Jamerson in half a second. There's so much variety in those pickups, they're perfect!

There are a couple of the Ox Jazz 4's on the u-box, complete with leather pickguards. Damn them. Even I can't justify another J bass.

A buddy of mine is currently fighting the urge to pick up a Bacchus Albert Collins style tele, he's just got his missus pregnant and is weighing up the moral dilemma of Bacchus or baby equipment :D

Justify, pfft, what does that even mean :D

Tell him to tell the missus the Bacchus tele is an investment for the kids future, and that these things are the next vintage Fenders man! That's the best I can come up with :)
