Anyone heard of dearVR MIX?

Apparently, it works with certain headphones (like AKG K240 Studio, see others here Dear Reality - Spatial Headphone Compensation (dear-reality.com) and mimics studio sounds and gives a flat response. I'm paying $89 to upgrade headphones, should I also snag this for $49 (on sale)?

I did a shootout with dearVR, Sonarworks, Sienna, and Slate VSX a couple years ago. Slate VSX came out on top by an absolute landslide compared to the others. It wasn't even close, and with all of the free updates it's only gotten better. If you want a headphone monitoring solution with crosstalk to emulate studio monitors then VSX is the only viable solution to my ears. dearVR was okay, but the controls were very fiddly, and the "illusion" of sitting in front of a pair of monitor speakers never really lept out at me like it did (and still does) with VSX.

Only the VSX headphones. It's a packaged deal. That's why it's a complete system. It doesn't have to rely on calibrations to any number of headphones.
