Anyone know a bassline learning software?

or is there such a thing?
a software that will take away all other instruments and let the bassline be exposed. would be good if it can be slowed down too without altering pitch.
and would be best if there is automatic tablature writing..
:D

Pretty impossible to separate different instruments out of one audio file... and automatic tablature writing?!?! I seriously doubt that, just use your ear! Developing an ear that can separate the bassline from the rest of the music will teach you much more than just how to figure out basslines, too!

Well, it's not software, but hardware rather...but the Tascam GT-R1 is pretty awesome. It can pull out basslines and speed up/slow down without changing pitch. It's an awesome piece of gear (and we use it to record on the move too!)

Thanks to jdwilliams, Tskills, PaulNYC, Hutzbordello, and warnergt.
i'll check these softwares/hardware.

what are these people who tell me to use ear/mind doing in the tablature forum?

They're just trying to encourage players to get away from the "crutch" of tablature and use your ears to figure out songs. In the long run you'll be a better bassist for the work.
