I've been able to find 4-string sets, but it's proving difficult to find the low B anywhere in stock.

Just reach out to Jason through the fret-nation sire.Bumping my old thread because it's time to buy some new strings, and again I can't find the Ken Smith "S130X" Slick Round low B string in stock anywhere. Do they still make these? I can only find the 4-string sets. The "SLaPiNFuNK" Talkbass account for Jason with Fret Nation seems to no longer exist![]()

Fretnation

I sent a message through their contact form and will report back to this thread with my findings.
The Ken Smith Slick 130 is essentially the same string as the GHS Brite Flats 129 in the 38" winding length. GHS makes Ken Smith strings.

I can only find the 4-string sets.
fwiw I've always had to buy the 5th Slick Round string as a separate single; I have never seen a pre-packaged 5-string set of Smith Slick Rounds, only 4-string sets.
+1 to FretNation for strings for great selection and speedy service, in my experience.
I'll pile on to the quick (immediate) and great service from Fretnation. I spent FAR more time scouring the internet looking for 5 string medium-light Slicks than I should have. I emailed Jason and he responded before my phone screen timed out. He had the mediums in stock in case you need them. He's having KS drop ship some m/l's for me and it was a quick and easy process. Thanks Jason/Fretnation and to TB for the recommendation!
