Anyone recognize this GS 112?

Hey! I’m currently on the hunt for a head/cab situation and I’m looking at a GS 112 for the cab. Does anyone know why this one has the extra space in the cabinet unlike all the others I’ve seen? I couldn’t find this one anywhere else. Also any input on a reasonably priced, head+cab setup for small gigs that can be expanded would be also appreciated. Passive P-Bass going for classic rock & funk tones mostly. Thx all!

Thanks that’s it! Guess they just pulled out the head. Any thoughts on it as a cabinet? Good head to combine it with? Also would it likely still function as a standalone cab with any head or will it have issues connecting it to a non Aguilar head?

Yep, that was a combo amp.

That looks like a great cabinet/combo situation. I believe that the Aguilar amp was the 700 dual channel, but may have been just the 500, too. Check the speaker to be sure what you can pump it up with.

It was the AG500

Should be fine with any 500w @ 4 ohm # 300w or so @ 8 ohm powered amp. Or maybe get the AG500 like it most likely had

Depends on how speaker was connected to amp; If speaker wire was coming from Cab with 1/4in or speakon attached you will need an adaptor
