Hey TB! Local Craigslist has a crazy price on what they believe is a 60’s/70’s p bass. Need some better more knowledgeable eyes on this. Here are some photos.

But I don't think it's worth the $600 firm.
It would have to be a really, really, really nice bass.

The headstock wood grain looks suspiciously not maple.

It is, but Asian, not American or Euro maple. Lotta red grain marking. It's the exact same maple they use on Affinity Squiers.

Neck is horrible and could be anything, been doctored up a bit. Everything else looks awful too. Avoid.

Nothing wrong with that as long as the parts are all legitimate and premium.

Perhaps a better collection of parts and a realistic description of said parts. Not Fender bass from the 60s 70s.
