Double Bass Anyone Run In Ears monitors off your amp?

I actually parted with my previous two loud basses for a compact Pollman that’s pretty quiet, but sounds amazing though an amp!

That’s why I like my own instrument.
Bigger bass usually means more prone to feedback.

So the ART head Tap works. I can send it out at the parallel jacks on my speaker cabinet or out of one of the speaker cables directly from the amp.

Sounds very clear and dry. It is sensitive to the volume on the amplifier in addition to the level control on the box.

My only concern at this point is that the output from the headphone box is not very significant. I was pretty much running it all the way up to hear some signal. I’m not sure how it will keep up in a live environment but it could be fine. As I mentioned earlier in the thread, the entire impetus is that I have some very high-end new IEM’s coming, So that could make a huge difference.

I’ll put up another post after I’ve had a chance to use it on a gig.

I have a Rolls PM351 that has Mic in/through, instrument in/through and a line input, so you can mix your instrument, vocal and also have a feed from the main mix. This has transformed some gigs playing in a hard surfaced room filled with noisy people.
