Anyone use 18's?

My first 18 was a peavey 1x18 folded horn. Good for low end but absolutely no mids and no highs. I ran it with a crossover and it was OK. Then I got an acoustic 301 Cabinet with 1x18. That was a good cabinet. It had some mids and highs. I used to run that cabinet with a 1x15 cabinet. When I put my head on top it was 7 feet tall. It really projected on all frequencies.

These days I built myself 2 1x15 cabs, 3 2x10 cabs and 1 1x18 cabinet. They are all 8 ohm cabinets, and I have 3 ampeg heads. So I can use any 2 cabs with any of the heads and I have 4 ohms. My favorite is to use 2 2x10 cabs and then run a line out into the PA that has 18 subs for low end.
