Anyone use an Amepg ba210 for gigs

I do not think I have posted this before, if I did pls. excuse me. I have an SVT 3pro w. a 4x10 and a 1x15. Both cabs are to heavy for me. ( bad back). I am not playing out, so I really do not need something else, though I am thinking about getting together with some guys & see if it will gel. So, I would like to have a combo. I have played both the Rumble 500 ( sounds great ) and have tried a ba210 last year....it sounded terrible. I am thinking I had a bad one from GC floor model.

I am really an Ampeg Guy, but am wondering because of my experinece w. the ba 210...was it bad?

The Rumble's are not on special, but Ampeg is at 48 months no interest I think. That is the only way I buy my gear now.

So, if anyone has any experince w. the ba210 on a gig, let me know.

Thank you.

Not on a gig but I have played them, and I think they sound terrific. I have, however, used a BA112 v2 on many gigs, and for a not-too-expensive amp I love it. Another option you might want to consider is the 3 Pro with a PF210he. To me it's a better sounding cab than the one in the BA210, and the 3 Pro is a better amp and not too heavy. But I'm down with the BA210.

I have a BA210v2. I use it for practice --- 2 guitars and heavy hitting drummer playing heavy classic rock. It sounds fantastic, and can keep up just fine. I don't use it on gigs because I have a PF800 and 2 Barefaced 210s but I'm confident that the BA210v2 would do the job for me in medium to small venues without PA support.

I use a BA-210 v2 on gigs every week, and have for well over a year. It works great. I play every week at an outdoor patio/restaurant gig without FOH support, because it's plenty loud, and get postive comments from band members and audience. Highly recommended. FWIW-I also use a BA-108 v2 for gigs, though generally with FOH support and it's great little amp. Both have the "Ampeg sound" to my ears.
(I connect my 'fridge to the 210 when I am on a big stage and can have some real fun!)
