I don't know if I'am or not. Right now my fav bass of the ones I own is a Jazz with a PJ being a very close 2nd and my P and acoustic kind of tied for 3rd.

I do know I don't need another bass.

I like the CA24 as it has a narrower nut, 2 band (not 3) eq and slab body (no cutouts). It's the only Stingray I've kept, went through an HH and a 5'r but the CA24 was, for me, the best of the not really expensive Sterlings.

Went ahead and ordered one…….trying to find the SR that speaks to me. I had a great one, an original SUB, but let it go (it's with a friend who appreciates it even more than I did). Tried a couple others, both USA, but nothing took. We'll see with this one.

I paid about that much for my SBMM Ray 34 CA from them about 10 years ago. It has a slab ash body and was my first foray into the MM realm. A few mods and i still play it a lot.

NVM - I checked and it's only the butterscotch at this price.
