I'm planning a body build based on an archtop design with the trapeze tailpiece and F-holes and what not. What I'm looking for are archtop flavored saddles with adjustable thumb-wheels. what might I find like this and where?

Ebay, there is a seller on ebay that sells tune-o-matic bridges, ETS may also make one. Best I can help you.
The Hofner bridge is the most available. I have one if you are interested. The real downside with it is that it only really works for Hofners. The string spacing from the E-G string is a tight 1-5/8". I did find this really nice Gretsch bridge which I may order for a project I'm working on.
