On the slow summer weekends I sometimes spend hours combing through gear listings and once in awhile my eyes play tricks on me, but this time I'm not sure - is the bridge pup on this crooked???

The other one there at Sweetwater has its pickups on straight, but they took the photo with the D string out of the saddle groove. Who's running that place nowadays? lol

They do/did recently - but I think they're only doing the dual pickup version at the moment.

There was a maple 2nd on reverb for 900 a week ago or so. Had dirt/bubbles in the finish of the neck heel. Should give a good baseline.

I got an email from them the other day about a couple limited edition Rickenbackers they were getting in stock and called my rep right away to inquire, he told me they were all sold out/on standby hold but he could check and see if they could get me another on order - I had to laugh before I hung up on him.

Nice. Not as bad as I thought, I really love the way these things look and have stopped myself from buying one countless times but the Maple is just sexy as hell even if the QC wherever these are being built is obviously slacking!

Same here, that maple is calling me! I played one long ago and it didn't resonate how I expected, but could've been a dud or humidity. I really want to try another.

There's that vendor in Nashville (I think?) who gets tons of these Blem'd and they get rolled into the Reverb sales for like $750 shipped sometimes. Bummed I didn't move on one!

Something looks off I'm rubbish at optical illusions and the body grain could be doing it, but the pole pieces seem to be differently aligned with the strings.
