That's because Noosa is full of thieves! We had our holiday place broken into when I was there and the scumbags stole everything they could get their hands on including quite a bit of cash. Cops were unsurprised and told us it happens constantly there.

Ok, maybe not full of thieves, but next time I'm there I'm gonna be giving everyone the evil eye!

It does happen all the time, people who are on holidays are pretty careless, often lock the front door ect. but leave the back unlocked/completely open often with things sitting out on the back veranda.

Someone drives up in a boat, hops out, grabs a load of your stuff and drives back off.

I deliver rental kayaks to the places all the time and tell people to be careful, but every now and then someone still gets their stuff nicked even after being warned. The holiday rental companys should really give you some sort of warning.

Actually we were quite a way from the beach. We always made sure everything was locked - we're very careful like that. The problem was that the windows were locked, but not secureable - they were very easy to break into. The police report noted that while they were locked, pushing on them in the right place would cause the lock to pop open! We complained to the rental company and showed them the police report. They essentially leased us a house that couldn't be secured, and didn't inform us of the fact. We were pretty angry with them!

Still, Noosa is a nice place

I have no problem with shortening words or combining them like "wanna" and "lemme" but when punctuation starts to go away I don't really know where sentences end sometimes it is very misleading to most of those who are used to reading its confusing and frustrating youre the one who has to make all the efforts for the message to go through properly

I read that just fine.

I'd say any regular reader should be able to sift through poor grammar/punctuation rather easily, no? Many great authors take liberties with the language they write in. Creative Writing 101.
