thank you, i would also like to thank the like 15 people who even attempted to awnser my question. honestly do capital letters change the meaning of whats is being written as a whole? just so you guys know i was a A student in english class all though school. some of these guys i imagine are like cameron from farris buler's day off, really up tight and all. chil out its the internet guys, a place full of porn, credit card fraud, conspiracy theories, cults and identity theft. so whats the big deal having a few less capital letters and periods with all that going on:confused:. i also would like to say that all most members on this thread are just having fun which is cool, i enjoy it too and it brings some life to TB but some of of these posts are just mean spirited and unpleasent now that imho is being rude, not failing to use proper english:rolleyes:

OK, enough about the grammar. What inquiring minds want to know is if you put the squeeze to any of your friends for information? And if so, how did it turn out?

Yes, they do.

You may well have been an A grade english student, however we don't know that. Using improper grammar just makes you look lazy or uneducated. If you don't put any effort into your question, why should I put any effort into my answer. Your OP wasn't all that bad TBH, typical of what you would see on a forum, but when I have to stuggle to decode the meaning of the question I generally don't bother.

I like to type in proper english in forums/emails/text messages, about the only time I will use shortened words is in IM ect. and even then its only the odd "Dunno lol \_(0.o)_/" and other things like that.

It keeps me in practice, and I also enjoy the appearance of a sentence that is well presented. Realistically composing a sentence is an artform, and one that I enjoy.

Fixedish.

It matters a lot if you want people to understand you and be able to communicate well with you. I had to read over your OP multiple times and break it up into sections just to get a shot at understanding what you were talking about, and by the time I finished breaking your code I didn't even feel like trying to offer you an honest and helpful opinion. Sure I could of left it at that and simply not responded, but I figured it would be a good opportunity to give you some insight into communicating with people via the internet. We don't know you past what you decide to put out there for us to see, and if all we see is incoherent jumble then we're going to think you're uneducated, lazy, and have nothing worthwhile to say to us.

You're doing better on the periods. With just a little more work on the capitals, you might almost be able to convince someone you were an A student in English.

Anyway, yeah, one of your buddies kyped the wallet and iPod. Pick the one you least suspect, and see if he'll rat out the perp.

the wallet turned up but no sign of the ipod. the wallet was my bad however there was no good reason any of us had her ipod since all of my friends have their own ipods and it wasnt theirs. i talked to two of the guys they both denied it, i still need to talk to the one guy who was acting werid that night though and the one guy i know didnt do it...

I was only referring to the one sentence under consideration. The other parts have many other errors already pointed out. It seems you are assuming I did not know of the other errors? Think before you comment. Its a good rule.:D

i can see how your cousin would start by assuming that her ipod was stolen, given that she knew you had friends over the night before. i know i would as well. however, you have said that you found your wallet and thus it wasn't stolen. i believe it is quite possible that your cousin has misplaced it.

and now that i am done being on topic:

i don't assume lack of capitals suggests grammar ignorance. tho i can see how people might assume i am youthful due to the liberties i take with the language.

personally, what i find "mis-representative" about the OP is his user name. i believe you are a teen, but whenever i see "60's Bluesman" i cannot help but think you are a grizzled, old goat. i expect the voice of deep, road-tested experience. then you post about partying at the lake and petty thievery.
