So, off to the right of my screen I noticed at that moment on TB there were 586 members, 1510 guests and 36 robots. My question is has artificial intelligence advanced to the point that robots, 36 of them, are going to replace us as bass players?

Everything is more expensive in your market. Here in Eastern NC you can throw an amazing wedding (complete with a live band) for a fraction of that. I've played hundreds of them. We mostly did weddings and corporate events with the occasional club or festival to fill the calendar.

You can also live in McMansion for what a tiny apartment costs up there.
