Are you a "sensitive person"?

Sensitive how? Sensitive as in not taking criticism well and taking things personally, or as in being in tune with the feelings of those around you? I'd say that while I'm not bad with either of those, I still try to improve.

I am ridiculously over-sensitive at times, and ridiculously ignorant to the emotional needs of others at other times.

Generally though, yes....I cry at Watership Down and It's A Wonderful Life.

I sometimes beat myself up overthinking criticism that may have come my way - professionally or personally - when I know I should just take it on the chin and move on.

So yes, I think I'm probably more sensitive than not.

Way too sensitive. I'm trying to change but I still care about the others than myself to this day from time to time.

This leads to total disasters. I became very emotionally unstable in the last year.

I wish I was as sensitive as a brick.

I'm crushed to hear this. Say it ain't so. :p
Yup, I'm sensitive too. For me the trick is to pull back and look at what and or who is causing me pain and see if it real. That gives me time to avoid reacting. I have so much junk in my mind just waiting to be roused. Some if it I am not even aware of. When is garbage day, I want to dump all this junk. :ninja:
Sometimes I cry at It's a Wonderful Life but I don't like anyone pointing it out.

I am more sensitive as I get older, but I wouldn't say I am all that sensitive overall. I get sad when I see an animal suffering or a child. I cry while watching some movies, but then I also laugh at situations when I see others around me crying.

As far as speaking my mind, I need to be better about that. I say things that are insensitive more than I would like to admit. I am working on it though. My wife has done wonders to help me with it. She is a kind and gentle soul. After 18+ years, some of it is rubbing off on me too.

Yeah, that's pretty much me as well.
