I'm slightly jealous now. I've two spaces in my GAS list & one of those is for an early 4-in-line headstock 'Tri-Sound' TSB (mine's a Thor Sound 2+2) - the other's for a Padauk Red SB.Here is a pic of my new bass. It's pretty beat up but the neck feels great.
As for the finish, if it hasn't gone through to the wood, the insanely thick two-pack poly responds well to CA (Superglue) filling - especially on black.

...Its had the original electronics replaced with a Kent Armstrong active circuit with a pair of centre-click treble and bass controls. The bass control (which can get very deep!) replaces the original six position switch and the treble control sits where the tone pot used to be. Not sure if the volume control is standard as the pots for the active circuit are definitely 'new'. All this means the standard knobs have gone in favour of some rather nice champagne coloured aluminium numbers which look quite period to the bass, to me anyway. The toggle switch just cuts the output and the led has been snipped of presumably because of the drain on the single 9v battery. I took the following pics before I cleaned and strung it. Its looking better now!
