Arthritis

Today I experienced two odd things with my right hand that makes me kind of concerned. One of them happened while I wasn’t playing bass and the other while playing bass. While I was playing bass I noticed some weird pain in my wrists which never happens. I don’t think it’s my technique that’s causing this wrist pain. Earlier today my pointer/index finger got stuck and i couldn’t move it. It just stayed up and i had to force it down. It felt weird when I did it. I’m concerned that I might have like arthritis or something.

Sorry to hear about your pain.

As a test you might try some ibuprofen to reduce inflammation and see if it helps.

Also try drinking lots of water, maybe six 8 oz cups a day for a couple of days.

Another thing to try is to eat less fatty food, especially fast food, for a few days.

I did all of the above and they helped me.

I think drinking the water and almost no fast food did the most good over the past few years.

Hope you feel better.
