As a bassist I....

The clear winner to this point, to my mind.

I once had a professor (guy’s name was Steve Dallas...Really!) who told us that if any of us Ever uttered the words “just a Teacher”, he would rise from his grave to stalk us.

I feel the same way about “just the bass player”.

I guess it’s ok when we’re joking amongst ourselves...;)

Sorta like I can talk ship about my own brother...but nobody else is allowed to. :thumbsup:

I thought it apt because we tend to get out over the tips of our ski, concerning band matters. I think it very zen focus on being that which you are.
 
Steve Dallas (Art for Early Childhood Education) also told us that if we ever, Ever, EVER told a child that they ought to keep their coloring Inside The Lines that he would rise from his grave...etc, etc, etc.

It’s funny...the stuff that sticks to the walls of your brain!
