Ashdown basses?

My guess is those are prototypes. Dan did the same tests on locations with his last basses when prototyping. But it could be just bad QA too. I know that the factory he used was stellar. The Lakin basses were 90% as good as the USA Laklands.

I bet they would sell like hotcakes if they did. The needle should indicate which note is being played.

Ashdown makes some high quality bass amps and their customer service has always been top notch. Just good people making good products. I've always been impressed by Dan Lakin's designs but haven't used any firsthand. I think this has potential to be something very good.
