I don't understand the blatant gear bashers. I mean, there are a few amps that I don't care for soundwise, namely Ampeg, but I can't see powerbombing a forum with "Aw God, Ampeg is Crap!" If I ever decided to do something like that, it would be because my wife stopped paying attention to me, and I couldn't get a hold of my mother to validate my existance. I like attention as much as the next guy, and I think everybody here is the same way, but 99% of us don't go into a Black Panther social event and scream "White Power" just because getting our ass kicked is better than no human contact at all.

Ashdown. SWR had the name Electric Blue for
an amp before Ashdown. How does stating facts
make me a troll?
I guess the people who debunked the accuswitch

as far as ashdown go im not keen myself, i think the heads are good but the cabinets lack quite a bit of punch, although i didnt get ages to fiddle with eq settings etc.
Swr? I think all the SWR heads ive played through have been sound pieces of kit, i think they are some of the best hads that simply amplify bass. havnt tried any of their cabs though.

Love my little perfect ten... the perfect practice amp for the cost probably worth much more than i paid. Also I understand that people have opinions but calling sumthing crap isnt a gr8 way to go lol. And if u do atleast back it up. Also if its crap how come the name ashdown is pasted all over pros gear lists?

As for the name thing.... Who cares? Its a name not a product. If they copied the product then thats bad. Maybe they themselves hadnt heard of the product either? Or maybe they just didnt care as that is the colour? Funny coincidence?? Nah i dnt reckon so

Pat got it right in the first post - SWR= scooped, underpowered and overpriced.

I couldn't give a flying fart what Ashdown names their amps. The MAG 300 is the best sounding sub $800 made.
